The Healthcare and Social Security Fund established by the Cabinet of Ministers is a key resource in controlling COVID-19 in Sri Lanka. The Attorney General Dappula de Livera also contributed to the Fund by handing over Rs.1, 326,449.00 collected by the Legal Officer’s Association of the Attorney General’s Department, to the President at the Presidential Secretariate on 20th May 2020. Additional Solicitor General Sumathi Dharmawardena, Senior Additional Solicitor General Sarath Jayamanne, Deputy Solicitor General Thusith Mudalige and State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne also participated on this occasion.
